I was thinking about our last conversation around securing data and thought this might resonate. I am not sure if you folks have spec’d any Huawei but, I thought you should know the latest news. This article goes over everything in detail. It was published just two days ago on July 26, 2022.

According to CNN Sources: There has been a major cybersecurity threat with Chinese-made Huawei. The telecommunications equipment was sold at low prices to providers in rural America near U.S. military bases. The FBI found that the equipment being sold in those areas was “capable of capturing and disrupting” communications related to the nation’s nuclear arsenal, sources familiar with the matter.

“This gets into some of the most sensitive things we do,” a source told CNN. “It would impact our ability for essentially command and control with the nuclear triad. That goes into the ‘[Big F***ing Deal]’ category. If it is possible for that to be disrupted, then that is a very bad day.”

SCARY!
